How It Works

You post

Share the piece you're wearing on Instagram, as usual.

You tag it

Manually tag the exact (or similar) piece in your Silk or Lace profile.

They shop

Someone taps through your tag and checks out on silkorlace.com within 30 days.

4

You get paid

Your commission is sent to your PayPal once the order is confirmed.

Tag the Pieces You Recommend

On your Silk or Lace profile, you pick which piece to tag against each post. It doesn't have to be the exact item, just the closest one in stock. Think of this as being someone's personal shopper.

Questions We Hear Most

How do I actually earn money through this?+
Two ways. You can manually tag a piece on your profile against your Instagram content, or copy your unique link from UpPromote and share it anywhere — a group chat, a forum, a blog post, or DM. Either way, if someone clicks through and buys, you earn commission.
Can I share my link outside of Instagram or Silk or Lace's own platforms?+
Yes. Your tagged links work anywhere — it isn't limited to tagged posts or our community platform. Share it wherever your community already gathers.
Does the piece I tag have to be the exact one I'm wearing?+
No. You choose the tag yourself — it can be the exact piece, or the closest match still in stock if the original has sold. You're in control of what gets tagged.
How and when do I get paid?+
Payouts go out via PayPal, to the email on your affiliate account. We'll confirm the exact schedule when you're invited in.
How do you track that a sale came from me?+
Your tag sets a 30-day cookie on the visitor's browser. If they purchase within those 30 days, the sale is credited to you.
How do I join?+
The program is invitation-only right now. If you're already sharing pieces or active in the community, reach out and we'll be in touch. If you've received your invitation already, our email will show you next steps.
