This Lu's Wigs lace top pony wig is definitely a unique find as we haven't received this construction/features in a while. A lace pony wig is great because this piece gives you a natural, realistic hairline that can be worn in hairstyles with a high pony/bun for different occasions. Length (measured 4" from hairline down to longer point of the ends, this may differ from brand listing due to the way we measure): 15-20" layered with 7-8" curtain bangs
Cap Size: Small/Medium, 21.5" (We recommend this for a 21"-22" circumference)
Note: Even though the tag says this is a size medium, this fits more snug and slides back on Lily's size medium head. We recommend this best fits someone in between a size small/medium. We also recommend double checking all measurements to make sure this is a good fit for you.
Top Type: Lace top with lace front and silk/velvet lining, multidirectional parting
Parting area (measured center cross section of area, side to side x front to back): 4 x 5 in
Ear to ear (measured from top of each ear area across hairline): 11"
Front to back (measured from start of front center hairline to nape): 13.5"

Condition: Lightly loved. Owned for about eighteen months. Seller purchased secondhand.
Other: Medium density (about 125%). Lace is cut very close to the hairline in a jagged method with a bit of fraying. Knots are not bleached, they are lightly plucked. There are some short hairs sticking out near the front that are not very noticeable when wearing. Light knot fallout across the front of the hairline/front center this is not very visible when wearing. The clips have been removed with some loose thread in those areas. Light wear and tear on the nape comb. Makeup staining on the lace/silk liner that is not very visible on the outside. Discoloration on the loop holes by the nape that is not visible on the outside. The seller added a haircut to this piece.
Considerations: The hair feels slightly dry toward the ends, a deep conditioning treatment can help maintain nourishment on the hair over time. The silk liner transition is visible - if you do not prefer you can remove it with a seam ripper by unstitching the thread. There are a bit more return hairs than usual - you can use a hot comb/wax stick/water spray bottle or a combination of all three to further pat down. Overall, in good condition.

Lily pictured is 5’3 height with a 22" circumference head and usually wears a size medium.

It isn’t the fault of Silk or Lace, but this piece is a disaster. I wore her 5 times before I really saw how bad this situation was. The hair tangles so badly at the nape and it’s not wearable. I have to constantly use a wide toothed comb, which still isn’t enough. The hair is very dry and feels/looks almost synthetic. I own another Lu’s piece and it’s nothing like this. I am really disappointed, but again know it’s not anyone’s fault.

I was hesitant about the Lu’s salt and pepper wig because it’s a small and I’m right at a medium. It fits great, just a little snug. The quality of the wig is beautiful. And the shipping was so quick, I was surprised when it came. I will definitely look for more pieces from Silk or Lace!

Lu’s has Real HD lace and is double lace double drawn hair so will last longer, the hair is super soft Mongolian, does not frizz and multiparting. Realistic 130% density. Only wore 3x total like brand new! 🫶🏼
