This is a gorgeous lace top whopper from Lu's Wigs. A whopper is a hybrid of a wig and hair topper making it the best of both worlds! The lace front creates a hairline for you so you don't have to blend with your hair in the front, however the cap is more like a topper so you can blend with your hair towards the bottom. A great option if you are looking for a hair loss or hair thinning solution that adds coverage and creates a hairline while still being able to blend with your hair for a natural, lightweight fit overall.

Condition: Lace uncut/tag on. Owned for about three years.
Other: Medium density (about 120-125%). Lace is uncut. Knots are lightly bleached and plucked. T here is light staining on the lace top that is visible on the knots in those areas. Some knots are also darker than others. Due to the staining/color irregularities on the knots, in some areas it looks like there is shedding/knot fallout - however, there is no shedding it is just the appearance from the color. It is not as noticeable when wearing. Some loose thread by one of the clips and near the bottom of the cap that does not affect the integrity of the piece.
Considerations: You can take this piece to a professional to tone the knots to avoid the areas (mentioned above) to look like there is shedding. This is a whopper which is a half wig/half topper. Overall, in great condition.

Janelle pictured is 5’6 height with a 22" circumference head and usually wears an 8 x 8 topper size.

It isn’t the fault of Silk or Lace, but this piece is a disaster. I wore her 5 times before I really saw how bad this situation was. The hair tangles so badly at the nape and it’s not wearable. I have to constantly use a wide toothed comb, which still isn’t enough. The hair is very dry and feels/looks almost synthetic. I own another Lu’s piece and it’s nothing like this. I am really disappointed, but again know it’s not anyone’s fault.

I was hesitant about the Lu’s salt and pepper wig because it’s a small and I’m right at a medium. It fits great, just a little snug. The quality of the wig is beautiful. And the shipping was so quick, I was surprised when it came. I will definitely look for more pieces from Silk or Lace!

Lu’s has Real HD lace and is double lace double drawn hair so will last longer, the hair is super soft Mongolian, does not frizz and multiparting. Realistic 130% density. Only wore 3x total like brand new! 🫶🏼
